You're right. I hadn't got around to testing RB across a network. At the moment, it only seems to identify UPNP servers on a local machine making it rather pointless.

There must be some network configuration or route that is required, but as yet I can't seem to work it out.

Hey, I don't know how you did it but I'm impressed. I have been trying to get my Lacie ethernet disk content (powered by twonky) working for 3 days and I can't. Rhythmbox doesn't see it and I'm stuck with lame daap support. Did you do something special? (python stuff installed). It was working well on gutsy with extra packages found on the web.

Howdy, I fell lucky that I located this post while browsing for docx converter. I am with you on the topic of Open docx files in OpenOffice on Ubuntu. Ironically, I was just putting a lot of thought into this last Friday.

I totally agree with all of that, too the point and non abusive, I have always defended them but all of this has me perplexed. I have customers who are locked out, who registered the account ages ago with billybob@aol.com for example, an account that no longer exists.

They dont understand that most customers dont even know the different between an address bar and a search bar, how are they ment too navigate too change passwords.

Im not a mechanic so dont expect me too do a clutch on my car

madness

[...] I first heard ‘The Last Century for Man’ at the Koko. I remember thinking, “God, I hope this isn’t typical of the album.” Luckily it wasn’t. Outside The Forum in London, a guy asked, “What’s all this nonsense about God Bless America and all that crap?” A woman told him it was meant to be ironic. But not ironic enough for me obviously - or maybe a little too much. I really have trouble bearing the cumbersome lyrical theme, which is a shame as the music is the exact opposite - sublime, considered. The cacophony at the end is merged well - but is it really necessary. I don’t know. But the song is over soon enough. [...]

Last year I was also faced with a similar problem. Really weird thing. Not long time ago we have switched to desktop authority - desktop management system. It includes quite powerful application deployment features. Their "validation logic" technology is much more powerful than common group policy in many cases, for example in selectively deploying applications to a set of desktops.
